The Charter Cottage and Charter House both share the same landscape of coco palms, limes, oranges, avocado, breadfruit papayas, and other tropical ornamentals. The premises are located one block from Hanalei Bay on the North Shore of Kaua'i.
Charter Cottage ...is a small but charming two room plantation green cottage with white trim that sleeps two. A great honeymoon retreat. Rustic in its simplicity, this cottage was designed in the single wall construction popular during the 1930's and which has been lovingly restored.
Cool Spanish pavers tile the floors throughout. Custom cabinetry is found in both rooms. The indoor shower is attractively lined with alpine slate. A pedestal sink graces the bathroom. The landscaped outdoor shower is the preferred area for bathing after a day on the beach or trail.
The kitchen is well supplied with dishes, utensils, pots & pans, table, chairs, a double deep sink, refrigerator, a two gas burner stove, and convection oven.
The only bedroom has a queen sized futon bed, a telephone, and a radio/CD player with a compliment of CD's. A lanai covers both sides of the cottage.
The laundry area is shared with Charter House, with a private entrance giving you access to a tiled laundry area equipped with a washer and dryer.
The Charter Cottage is within a short walk or bicycle ride of the nearby town of Hanalei, which lies sandwiched between mountain peaks cascading with distant waterfalls and the emerald shores of Hanalei Bay.
Hanalei is an hour drive from the airport of Lihu'e and is the gateway to the Na Pali Coast.
